Visit The Mount - Edith Wharton House - The Mount is a cultural center and  historic house museum, welcoming over 50,000 visitors each year. Visitors can explore the property and learn about Edith Wharton by taking tours of the house and gardens and are invited to sit in and interact with the rooms without obstruction. 

Visit The Norman Rockwell Museum - Home to the world's largest collection of original Rockwell art. The museum also hosts traveling exhibitions pertaining to American illustration.

3 Days in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains with sightseeing, breakfast and dinners, visits to the Mount at Edith Wharton House and the Norman Rockwell Museum.  Stop at Lee Outlets on the return.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel to Great Barrington, Massachusetts for the Berkshires.  We will make a rest stop on the way and a lunch stop (on own) at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Holyoke, MA.  Dinner is included at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA. (D)

 

Day 2 - After breakfast we will visit the Edith Wharton House - The Mount.  There will be free time in Stockbridge where you can get lunch (on own).  We will return to the hotel before leaving for dinner at the Barrington Brewery.

 

Day 3 - Today we will check-out of the hotel and visit the Norman Rockwell Museum.  From there will be go to the Lee Outlets.  You can get lunch (on own) at the food court before heading for home.  There will be a rest stop on the way home.
